Questions
- Which date order does the file use?
- QIF carries no indication of date order, so the importing program reads it in your system locale. We write month-first by default and offer day-first, and the export tells you which one it used. Getting this wrong shifts dates, so it is worth checking.
- Does QIF keep cheque numbers?
- Yes, in the N field. Numbers printed inside the description are extracted into it as well.
